Beginnings...

Greek Life at Greensboro College began with the Greek Leadership Society (GLS), a male fraternity,  in 1999.  Shortly after, the Sisters of Pride and Leadership formed in 2000.  The Greek Council was established in 2001 as the governing body of these two organizations.

Growth...

Since then, Greek Life has expanded to include United in Pride and Sisterhood, Federation to Excel, Strong Sisters United, and Strong Men United. GLS began the process of colonization with Theta Xi in 2002.

Today...

Today, on our campus, you will find a Theta Xi Colony, SPL, UPS, FedEx, SSU, and SMU working together to strengthen our greek system. The Greek Council is being molded into a stronger governing body for all of the organizations and each organization is looking toward obtaining national Greek letters.
